If you have small amounts of embroidery thread left, use them for
decorative stitches on your machine to enhance an embroidery design.
For example, just two or three lines of different colors under a
design can add a lot of interest. Or use them to practice free motion
stitching. Get a plain piece of fabric and using different colors,
stitch free motion all over. (you could just put straight rows
spaced .5 to 1" apart) Then use this as the background for an
embroidery design.

The individual corner sections could then be appliquéd on the corners of the
tablecloth. This set would also make a great quilt centerpiece. You could use the

batiste or voile to let the sun shine through.
