[EMBROIDERY_HELP] Acrylic Tumblers help

 

Hi,

I embroidered my first kiwi paper to insert in an acrylic tumbler. I followed a template that came with the tumbler. I pushed the paper in the tumbler and found there is a 1/4" space between the sides of the paper. Did I cut it too short or should I have taped or glued the sides together?
