Hi.  I am new to this group, and am looking forward to learning and sharing great ideas!  I am a full-time teacher, mother of two, and wife.  My husband recently lost his job due to down-sizing, and I am looking into making some crafts to sell to local boutiques that are really nice.  I know the personalized crafts are big right now, so I was looking for something along that line.

I saw some appliqued initials that were really pretty on towels, but I have no idea how to applique.  I understand there are computerized embroidery machines, and wondered if there is any computerized way to applique.  I had a car accident several years ago, so I can't sit and manually sew.  I would like to applique if it can be done any other way.  Otherwise, I'm considering embroidering.

Any ideas or suggestions for this new kid on the block would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Allison
