Happy weekend!  Hope you are all well and looking forward to a wonderful day!

I've gotten several emails this week asking me exactly what the Embroidery Deduper is used for.  In a nutshell, when you acquire embroidery designs, usually the digitizer includes numerous formats.  This is because all the manufacture's of the embroidery machines has their own design format to be used with that machine.

After you have download the designs to your computer, maybe sorted them in different categories, you have not only the design format that you need, but maybe six to eight other formats.  No think about having 100 designs.  That may equal out to several hundreds of designs (formats) that you don't need.

You tell the Embroidery Deduper which format you would like to keep if several are offered.  The software will sort through all your designs and identify any formats that you can't use.  You then can choose to delete the extras or just place them somewhere else.  This, of course, is not all the software can do, but just a simple explanation of one thing.  There is a tutorial on the website that you can watch:
