HINT: I often get questions about how to choose colors. Which Leaf colors go well with different
flower colors is a good place to start. These aren’t hard and fast rules, but will give you some
guidelines when you choose your own colors. I will have more Rules in the next Ad.
Rule 1. Use Yellow greens with warm colored flowers. For example, Peach, Yellow, and Red flowers
look great with yellow green leaves – Limes and Loden greens. True Red flowers also look good with
what we call *Smokey Greens*.
Rule 2. If you want a more realistic to your embroidered flowers and leaves, use the more subdued
colors and only occasionally a bright color for accents. You will have a much richer look.
Rule 3. Blue Greens look best with flowers that are purple, blue, and some of the more purplish pinks.
Add mint colors for accents.
