There is a group with the Yahoo groups that has forums, chats, designs, and a newsletter; as well as the yahoo group. There are a lot of nice people from all over the world who can help you with most any question. They are from beginners to very advanced embroiderers. They seem to know about most of the machines, too. I have the little Brother PED 150. I have been collecting designs and learning from these folks for quite a few years. SiCharlesKnight = SiCK is the founder of the site. I hesitated to go there,at first, because of the word"SiCK". Nothing to do with bad stuff. LOL They also have some really good deals on thread and supplies. Certain times of the year, they run REALLY good sales.

That link should get you there. Join the site, forums, and chat and you will find a lot of people who can eventually answer almost any question you might have.
The first thing I would say is, get to know your machine. Play around with samples and get comfortable with how it runs. Taking your time and being really careful and attentive to it, will save you head aches, in the future.
